Broad Oak Energy was founded in mid-2006 by a long associated team of highly experienced and successful energy professionals to identify, develop, and produce U.S. domestic oil and gas reserves.

Broad Oak’s business plan, which focuses on extending and improving recovery in onshore areas of Texas and Louisiana, has received substantial funding from a top tier institutional private equity firm in New York.

Broad Oak’s vision is to develop a portfolio of high working interest oil and gas properties in established, long-lived resource plays. Our strategy relies on rapid, effective evaluation of focus plays, creativity in obtaining oil and gas leases or producing assets, and low cost operations that create value through optimized drilling and completions. Broad Oak selects plays with a high probability of field extension or improved recovery reserve additions, initially focused in Texas and Louisiana.
